Isle of Pines

Long-established lakefront, which means a lot of docks arriving at the same milestone together.

Call (980) 447-2445 What we handle

Where shoreline has been developed for a long time, a good number of docks are still running components from an earlier era. Flotation in particular tends to be the item that has quietly passed its service life while everything visible still looks sound.

That makes freeboard the most useful thing to watch here. A deck that rides lower than it did is reporting a flotation problem well before any board or bracket looks wrong.

Calls from this area skew toward floats and connections rather than mechanical failures, which is what an older dock population produces.

Worth watching here

Original flotation quietly past its service life while everything visible still looks fine.

What we get called for here
01

Storm damage

The wide water carries weather further. Damage here is more often wind-driven than debris-driven.

02

Dock repair

This end of the lake asks more of a dock than the narrows do, and the repairs reflect it.

03

Boat lift repair

Deeper water and bigger boats mean bigger lifts, and bigger lifts fail differently.

Nearby
01

Stutts Road

Quieter water and steeper ground, which moves the problem from the dock to the way you reach it.

02

Kistler Farm

Coves and points alternating, so neighbouring docks often need different advice.
