Brawley School Road

A long peninsula with water on both sides, which means no single answer about exposure.

Call (980) 447-2445 What we handle

The defining feature here is that the land is narrow and the water is on both flanks. Two properties a few hundred yards apart can face opposite directions and therefore experience completely different conditions, so general advice about this road is almost always wrong for half of it.

Which side you are on decides which failure to expect. The flank facing the long water takes the built-up chop and works hardware accordingly. The sheltered flank is easier on mechanical parts and no kinder at all to anything sitting in the wet-and-dry band.

It is the one stretch where we would rather know your orientation than your address before guessing at a cause.

Worth watching here

Which way the dock faces. On this peninsula that decides the failure mode more than age does.

What we get called for here
01

Boat lift repair

Deeper water and bigger boats mean bigger lifts, and bigger lifts fail differently.

02

Floats

Flotation fails quietly and then all at once. The warning sign is geometry, not sound.

03

Gangways

The part of the dock that moves every time the lake does, and the part most often ignored until it will not.

Nearby
01

The Point

Deep water and substantial structures, which pushes most calls toward the mechanical end.

02

Langtree

Busy water. Constant small movement rather than occasional large weather.
